We guarantee we will do everything we can to help you achieve your goals with respect to the book spot you purchased or the solo book author journey you started. Since you are writing your story, your way, we cannot guarantee your joy or happiness when it comes to your final product. But, we will do anything that is reasonable to help you achieve your goals.

All of our book spots are non-refundable. The reason is simple – there are limited spots in each collaborative book and when one slot is filled, there is one less for someone else. However, we do understand that life gets in the way and will consider an author’s extenuating circumstances if good cause for it is provided within 60 days of entering into a collaborative book. We may be able to shift that author to a different collaborative book with a later launch date if a spot is available. Note: we will only make one change per author for good cause/extenuating circumstances.

YES! We welcome authors from around the world and, in fact, all of our collaborative books have authors from different continents and countries. This is what makes launch day so much fun!

Yes, you and another author can share a book spot. However, if you elect a spot that includes an author's name featured on the cover, only one of you can be on the cover. The other author's name will be listed on the back cover.

YES! In fact, we offer an author discount when an author purchases multiple book spots at once. Please send your inquiry to alexandra@pencrownpublishing.com .

We are very selective when it comes to accepting new clients in our solo book program. We give preference to the authors we have worked with before in our collaborative books. Working with a solo author is a journey and requires an entirely different and customized approach. If you are interested in publishing a solo book, please book a complimentary consultation. We will let you know if our spaces are filled and our next available opening.

Yes. You own the copyright and all print and reproduction rights. You can do anything you want with your story and/or your book. You do not, however, own the collection that gets printed in a collaborative book, for example. Pen Crown Publishing owns the rights to the collection as printed.
